An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Estates Programme Delivery Officer based at Essex Police HQ in Chelmsford.


As part of the on-going programme of strategic change across the Estate you will assist the Estate Services Department acting as the focal point for customers and stakeholder enquiries, facilitating customer engagement, and providing information and updates about the Estate Services programme of works and projects - including information held on the Estates Management System and Webpages.


This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to co-ordinate and organise a number of activities to control and support enquiries about estate management functions across the Essex Portfolio, and produce information and reports associated with delivery of the service.


You will work closely in support of Estate Practitioners and therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Personal Qualities:

  • Decision Making


Technical/Essential Skills:

  • Office Technology (Level 3) – Demonstrate previous experience of using databases
  • Information Gathering & Analysis – Experience of creating and developing reports, statistical data and processes using Microsoft tools and other packages


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of maintaining ‘record management’ systems
  • Estates Management experience
