This is an excellent opportunity to join the HR Strategy team. You will provide essential support across a range of HR activities, helping the team to deliver projects, initiatives and services that benefit officers and staff across Kent Police and Essex Police.
The role is varied and will involve organising meetings, managing inboxes, maintaining records, responding to enquiries and producing documentation. You will also assist with research, data collection and the preparation of reports and management information to support decision-making and workforce initiatives. Primarily you will be supporting the HR Strategy Project Manager but will also provide ad hoc support to other teams across the HR directorate.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to learn. You will need good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
This role would suit someone looking to gain experience within HR. In return, you will have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of people-related activities, work with colleagues across both forces and contribute to projects that support the development of our workforce.
Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £30,453.00.

Kent Police and Essex Police have separate salary grading systems therefore the salary for this position will be dependent on which home office force you are appointed to. This will be discussed with the successful applicant before a final offer is made.
