An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join us as a Business Services Assistant – Reception, based at Kent Police College in Maidstone.

 

This is a varied and busy role, combining front-of-house reception duties with occasional support to the Uniform Team.

 

You’ll be able to demonstrate experience in customer service, working as part of a team and working independently, security monitoring and Health & Safety awareness, with a professional and helpful approach.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage admittance and log visitors to Kent Police College
  • Log reported faults and requests via online systems
  • Complete administrative duties and maintain records
  • Manage stationery stock
  • Manage and maintain the security of keys and lockers
  • Coordinate diaries and bookings (meeting rooms, minibuses and reserved parking spaces)
  • Monitor CCTV
  • Create and administer access cards

 

Additional duties 

  • Measure customers
  • Book appointments and log requests
  • Issue uniform items
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Order uniform and other items

 

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their experience to a small but resilient team.

 

We’re looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach to working hours. The role will primarily be 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day, with occasional evening duties.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £25,809.00.
